The Society for Neonatology and Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine will award its Science Prizes at its 47th Annual Meeting from 16–19 June 2021 with the aim of promoting young scientists. The awards are intended to recognise outstanding scientific work by GNPI members with clinically significant issues in the focus areas of neonatology and paediatric intensive care medicine. Three prizes are awarded, consisting of a certificate and a cash prize of usually 5,000 EUR, 2,000 EUR and 1,000 EUR.
The awarding of the 3 science awards will take place during the opening of the 47th annual conference on 17. June 2021 from 6:00 pm–7:20 pm.
All submitted papers will be presented personally with a lecture in a separate session on 16. June 2021 from 2:00 pm–4:00 pm.

The Society for Neonatology and Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine will award three poster awards for physicians and one poster award for nurses. The contributions will be selected by an evaluation committee during the 47th Annual Meeting from 16–19 June. The aim is to explicitly address and stimulate young scientists to participate with posters of high quality in terms of form and content. Three prizes will be awarded, consisting of a certificate and a cash prize of 400 EUR, 250 EUR and 100 EUR, as well as 250 EUR for the nursing section.
The poster awards will be presented during the social evening of the 47th annual meeting on 18. June 2021. The exact date will be announced shortly.
